I'm pretty new here and I couldn't find this information anywhere so I'll ask.
I've been learning the N4 Kanji schedule, and I now want to stop learning new words from it so I can start learning from the Genki Kanji schedule (and I don't want to learn too much per day, so one kanji schedule is enough).
Problem: I can't find an option to not learn any new word from a schedule? When I put "0" as the study goal it asks me to enter a valid number instead. I don't want to freeze the schedule as I want to keep reviewing the kanjis I started learning from it!
For now I think I'll try the "only learn new words after you've finished your reviews" option, but it's not ideal, as I will still have some learning pending on my dashboard, which I don't prefer.
Study goal is the total number of questions Renshuu will serve you a day, it doesn't control new terms. The option right below that should be "New terms per quiz", which you can set to 0.
You can also click the ︙ button next to the schedule name on the dashboard, and use the pace option to set the schedule to Review.
As gillianfaith pointed out, that is the option you want if you want to completely freeze your schedule from adding new terms.
For me, I ignore that completely if I'm not up for it. Under the field gillianfaith mention, there's a checkbox for "Don't learn new terms until daily review is finished". It's also under the "Pace" settings in the 3-dot menu of each schedule. All that does is push the reviews of terms you've been practicing ahead of learning new terms. When you've exhausted your reviews, you can still do a focused review quiz. It will not push new terms until you click the "Study" button to start that.
If you've accidentally pressed it, don't worry about that. You can safely exit out of it. It's not really gonna affect the new terms for you to study unless you inform the system about your knowledge of the term.
