Can I say たくさんの宿をある instead. Or is it not quite right?

I think you should change を witth が just look at and cuz たくさんの宿をある means lots of questions exist(idk how to explain) but with が it's like lots of questions is there(exist) correct me if I'm wrong

No, Its not correct because :
1.) takusan is directly followed by nouns. And howework is not a noun.
2.) aru used the particle ga not wo.

takusan is mostly follwed by nouns like たくさんの、たくさんの etc.

So, the final will be either :
宿がたくさんある。
but this can work :
たくさんのしゅくだいある。

Thank you both so much! I don't know why i decided to use を instead of が lol. My main concern was the word order with たくさん! So I'm glad it works both way

I think I remember seeing this discussed here in the forums before (or maybe it was a sentence comment?), but I can't find it anymore. This StackExchange thread,, though, gives some more explanations about the difference in word order.
