I am putting in about an hour or two a day and I have learned most of the hiragana, though with some struggle due to dyslexia, but I feel like the words just aren't clicking with me are there any good ways to help me learn to read?

First, it takes time to remember anything whatever you do and no secret technique can change that. So don't worry too much, dyslexia or not, there a "time" part that can't be change (and trying to do "more" is not always beneficial)

But other than that, you can try to write a few words that you like each day. Writing require to remember more detail from the hiragana but in turn, it will you help you to remember them more easily. And writing word, even if you just try to write the same word, is more meaningful than just symbol. Just because of that, it will be a little easier.

Practice, practice, practice.

Even native speakers of Japanese struggle to read text that is all hiragana. Japanese text is much easier to read when it is broken up by a few kanji, but of course you can’t benefit from that until you learn those kanji. Even then, it takes a long time to learn which reading to use in a given sentence. Generally speaking, reading Japanese is just hard, and you shouldn’t be self critical if you’re struggling, because everyone else is too.

one thing that I find helpful is to do a bit of study and one of the games, and the most ive done is about 45 mins (ish) it's better to pace yourself because you'll keep more knowledge but this is just my opinion, whatever you think works for you is good !! have a nice week ! \(・∇・)/☆
