Hello!
I've recently purchased a membership for Renshuu pro, in part to support this awesome learning tool and also to benefit from all the extra features. However, I'm wondering what is the best path to start using all of the new things into my already existing schedules.
For example, I have high mastery levels on all of the N5 kanji, but I would like to start practicing writing. Should I start a new schedule with writing only? Should I change the settings on the existing schedule to add more question styles? What about schedules that I'm actively practicing?
I'm curious to hear about your tips and suggestions to make the pro membership as effective as possible!
I’m a proponent of the second schedule for writing approach. You can always merge them later.
The other advantage of having a writing schedule is that you can use it for practice in Quick Draw by using Salmon Island.
I personally just have writing and all mixed into my main schedules, as I'm more limited for time and don't have the time to have schedules specifically for writing.
The simple answer is to try different things out and find what works best for you!
What about vocabulary schedules? Pro adds a bunch of vectors (listening/pitch/writing), and there is this warning that too many vectors might slow down the schedule.
I haven’t bothered to do so myself because I’m constantly adjusting my vocabulary schedule, but creating a second schedule for listening would have similar advantages
I use the sentence questions for all my vocabulary schedules. It's really helpful seeing them in context. As for Kanji, I just kept the writing vector in the same schedule. Less schedules to keep track of that way
