There’s an ongoing shiritori where よ is the special kana. I played たいちょうamong other words but am not getting credit for the ょ.
This appears to be the game in question. I can confirm, I did not get credit for ていちょう.
I did not have time to test it, but this should be fixed for words played in the future.
