Hello!

I have been using Renshuu for a few weeks and have started "Japanese basics (Grammar)" and "Words for Japanese Basics". According to the schedule I have covered 65 of the 103 words and 4 grammar topics. My question comes from a bit of prior knowledge seeking guidance. I had used Wani Kani up to level 3 and have bought the Genki Books. Does Renshuu mix in Kanji as its own schedule? Is it something I need to manually add myself?
I want to eventually use Renshuu in tandem with Genki and supplement with Wani Kani.

In renshuu, kanji are studied in kanji schedules. Once you learn a kanji, it will be used in vocabulary and grammar schedules as well.

There are kanji schedules for Genki in the schedule manager. You can use those instead of or in addition to the JLPT based ones.

So, what I guess I'll follow up with is, I should just add a kanji schedule to my studies? Renshuu will not auto suggest one?

Yep. You’re in control. Not everyone wants to study kanji, at least not in the beginning. Others, like me, make kanji the primary focus of our study.

Thanks so much for your explanation! Good luck with your studies!
