I use the „add/remove reading from quizzung“ feature a lot. A while ago this stopped working - sometimes. A reading once removed from quizzing cannot be added again. Instead I get a tooltip. Did the tap region get smaller? Do I keep missing it? Where‘s the selection with the small checkboxes?
Is there a workaround? Adding readings while I quiz appears to work, but actually doesn‘t. It‘s removed again the next time I see the kanji in a quiz. And it stays removed in the dictionary, which was different before, I believe.

Hm, is there anyone else with this issue? Are there any workarounds? Or even fixes?
I tried creating a new list with that kanji above. I then created a new schedule with this list. In a focused quiz I could restore one of the lost readings (ジョウ) - for whatever reason I could add that reading after answering the quizzed kanji. Yet, this appears to be random and I cannot add the other reading.
I‘m having this issue with several kanji…
Anyone else?
I don't have this problem, but on PC you get that "You have marked this reading as unknown, and it will not appear in quizzing" tooltip on hover and the checkbox on click. I'm guessing "onmouseover" gets triggered on mobile for some reason and you can't get to the "onclick" that's meant to open the UI with the checkbox.
On my emulator the "tap" goes straight through to the "onclick" and everything works fine. Makes sense, since emulators don't perfectly replicate mobile quirks.
I don't think I can help much, sorry :(
Yes, I have noticed the same problem. I’m using an iPhone if that makes any difference.
Thanks a lot! That’s a perfect workaround so I’m at least not stuck on my lost readings!!!
I use renshuu on my iphone aswell. There the tap gives me the tooltip you get on hover in a browser. And I cannot create the „onclick“ for the actual change of quizzing.
I logged in via browser now and could add the readings I want.
Thanks!
ive had issues with sentences like this. i'll tap the eye next to a sentence that I dont like that adds in too many other grammar points so puts slash through the eye to not show it again but it will still sometimes show up in a later quiz. idk if this is related
Unrelated. There are multiple copies of some sentences, sometimes with minor variations, in the database. I assume that’s what you’re seeing.
Yes, I can add previously removed readings to my quizzing again!
Thanks!
