Look at the screenshot below. He claims I did that after 233 tasks and paying for life and don't remember it.
Except, I paid for life, noticed my stuff was gone. Logged out, couldn't log in. As a dev I figured maybe try pass reset. It worked. Stuff was still gone.

I emailed. No response. Some angry emails. OMG even a little cussing.

And he literally tells me he won't fix it because I didn't talk to him nicely.

Which means it'll still be broke when it happens to you.

Honestly think I'd perform that reset somewhere before paying for life and doing dishes and forget?

No.

He won't admit the site messed up. That there's proof of this sort of stuff even on these forums.

He doesn't like that I work over a dozen businesses and am used to talking blunt.

Sorry but that's life.

I'm not all roses for losing 233 tasks, handing someone over 100 bucks within a matter of hours (total, for both) and then being ignored.

Be prepared.

This site should have more than one admin and, it's code it simply too old.

NOBODY USES FLUTTER ANYMORE.

This could EASILY be converted to NextJS.

BTW, the "after me swearing" being the reason, he'd already denied it and blamed me. What's the real reason?

It shouldn't take half a day to deal with an account that got locked and wiped.

And that reset, it doesn't reset your password.

His code did.

What happened to the customer is always right (when you know you're wrong and bluntly lying at the least) ?

I'm not sure why the original post was removed, but retyping my reply:

I received several messages from the user with language I was entirely not comfortable with reading. After repeated attempts to have a calm conversation, I felt it was best to fully process the refund for the renshuu pro subscription.

renshuu is far from perfect, and while I am always working to fix and improve it, I have every right to expect a certain level of civility when talking with users (and users the same politeness as well). You have every right to your feelings and thoughts, and while it doesn't seem like renshuu worked out for you, I do wish you the best with your Japanese learning.

I know this is technically none of my business, but I also agree that a certain level of respect is necessary when talking to anyone, regardless of the scenario. Things might have been cleared up more easily in the first place if the issue was discussed calmly. Anyway, I'm sorry マイコーさん, you deserve more credit for how you manage this app.

And Richard, I hope that you can still appreciate this app and the wonderful learning tools that it offers. I know that your experience is off to a rocky start, but if you decide to continue using renshuu, I'm sure you'll find it to be an asset to your studies :)
