Like many folks, I run several schedules, many of which have been up and running for a long time. This morning, two of my oldest schedules have had all progress wiped. The terms are still there but the schedules have been reset as if they were completely new -- no terms have been "seen" and I have no progress on them. Interestingly enough, both schedules have been flagged "all studied" ("You've studied all the terms you need to for today"), which would seem to contradict the status of terms "not yet seen = 100%".
The two schedule that have been affected are "Vocabulary" (795 terms) and "i-adj" (85 terms).
The reset came sometime in the past 12 hours. Last night, both schedules were fine. If I recall, Vocabulary had maybe 300 "Items not yet seen" and 100+ items due for review. I-adj had maybe 30 "Items not yet seen" and about 50+ items due for review. The only changes I have made to *any* schedule in the past 12 hours was to add a couple of terms to a few other schedules -- no terms were added, subtracted or modified from Vocabulary or i-adj.
It is not a terrible, awful, horrible thing if I have to start these two schedules over from scratch. After all, if I truly know the items, I should be able to tear through them and rebuild progress fairly quickly. And if I don't know them, it will be a good wake-up call/review. The issue is, is there some sort of bug that will affect other schedules/users?
So as not to "tamper with evidence", I won't work on ANY schedules for the time being. I'll leave everything just as it is. Please let me know if you need further information. Thanks!
There was a small problem with the vocabulary logs table that resulted in a very small (as in, quiz results from just a few hours).
Your schedules should be fine. I just told the site to rebuild the summary data (that is the data that 'appeared' to be gone) from your personal study history. It'll take a few minutes, but there will be no real damage once it's all rebuilt!
